Masstech Welcomes Experienced Industry Professional Frank Lima to International Sales Team
Extensive market experience combines with deep television workflow expertise to benefit customers and partners as company accelerates Latin American momentum
May 2, 2016 — TORONTO, Ontario: Masstech – the trusted provider of innovative, advanced workflow and media asset management solutions – announced today that Frank Lima has joined the company as Director of Sales for Latin America, the Caribbean and Florida.
A 21-year veteran of the broadcast industry, Lima is responsible for expanding Masstech’s business and relationships with customers, partners and resellers in the region. In addition to providing a local presence for customers in the Southeast U.S. and building on the company’s continuing success throughout Latin America, one of his key goals will be the development of Masstech’s business in his native Brazil.

Lima brings extensive background in television station operations and file-based workflows, including 16 years selling technology solutions to major broadcasters in Latin America. Prior to his most recent role as Latin American Sales Manager for Telestream, Lima previously held sales engineering positions with Harmonic (Omneon) and Tandberg Television. These were preceded by broadcast engineering roles at television stations such as WBZL-TV, where he gained valuable insight into broadcast workflows from ingest to master control and transmission. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, he holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Hawthorne University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba in Brazil.
