We are looking for a well-rounded individual with the following skills:

  • Excellent researching ability
  • Ability to write quickly and perform under tight deadlines
  • Must write in a variety of tones, on a variety of subjects, within a variety of structures
  • Strong knowledge of technology, not necessarily company specific
  • Ability to evoke readers’ emotions and stand out from the crowd
  • Creativity to generate content ideas and bring perspective and opinion

As you can see, pure writing ability is important, but far from the only qualification: curiosity, creativity and writing speed are essential.

Experience

Ideally possessing an undergraduate level degree in English, Writing or Marketing, you have a few years’ experience in creating content and social media, possibly as a freelancer or in a technology start up. You’ll need to know how to use all things Adobe, as well as the normal office software.
