EMERALD MEDIA FRAMEWORK
Emerald will transfer media from anywhere in the environment to the post production system ready for a particular job. In-line transforming, re-wrapping and transcodes of different file types are automatically performed so that content can move between FCP and Avid systems. All the essence media and metadata related to a particular project is saved in Emerald. When required, Emerald restores the hi-resolution source material to the NLE keeping all transfer complexity hidden from the operator. Once editing is complete, Emerald manages the naming, saving and transfer of all the new finished sequences to be ready for presentation, playout and re-purposing.
