Philip R. Reddon

Mr. Reddon joined Covington Capital Corporation in 2002 in the role of Vice President for Investments, taking on responsibility for the analysis of new investment opportunities and management and monitoring of the fund’s existing investments.

Prior to Covington, Mr. Reddon was with the Bank of Montreal Capital Corporation. Mr. Reddon began his career in banking at the Business Development Bank of Canada.

Eric K. Ehgoetz, Managing Director, BMO Capital Corporation

Eric is a Managing Director of BMO Capital Corporation (“BMOCC”) and shares responsibility for overseeing investments in Ontario. He is a member of BMOCC’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. BMO Capital Corporation is a market-leading provider of mezzanine debt and equity to mid-market companies across Canada. With $400 million in committed capital, BMOCC invests up to $20 million in companies with defensible industry positions and stable and predictable cash flows. Proceeds are typically used for acquisitions, buyouts, capital expenditures, restructuring and working capital for growth.

Eric has over 20 years of diversified experience in merchant banking, structured finance and risk management, within Schedule 1 financial institutions, non-bank lenders and insurance companies.

Eric is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Bob Roy (Observer), Managing Director Equity & Head of Ventures

Robert J. Roy is Managing Director of Equity & Head of Ventures for Roynat Capital, a division of the Bank of Nova Scotia. He has over 25 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing and venture capital activities. Mr. Roy represents Roynat Capital’s interests at board level for a number of companies in the high-growth sector, including companies involved in telecommunications, logistics, software and information technology. Mr. Roy has served as a Director of the Canadian Venture Capital Association from 1991 to 1997 and was Conference Chairman in 1992.

He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1981 while at Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young LLP) and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in 1978.

Following his career in public accounting Mr. Roy joined Innovation Ontario Corporation (“IOC”) in 1987. IOC’s early investments in K-W include Research-in-Motion, Open Text, Descartes Systems Group and Certicom Inc.

Mr. Roy has also been involved with sourcing, structuring, closing and subsequent positive divestment of a number of Roynat investees.
